Who we are

We fish for wild brown trout and grayling on the River Clun and Kemp in Shropshire where we have access to three beats, approximately 4 miles of mainly double bank fishing. We also have the rights to around four miles on the River Lugg near Presteigne on the Welsh Borders.

The rivers have high water quality and very good natural fly life. The average size of trout is between 15- 25 cm.

The River Clun

The River Clun is a river mostly in Shropshire which runs though the small town of Clun as well as through or near a number of small villages situated along its valley. It discharges into the River Teme at Leintwardine. The Clun valley is a very rural and is part of the Shropshire Hills area of outstanding beauty.

The River Lugg

The River Lugg rises near Llangynllo, Powys. It flows through the border town of Presteigne, Wales then through Herefordshire, England to the south of Leominster where it meets a tributary, the River Arrow. Its confluence with the River Wye is at Mordiford 9 miles downstream of Hereford and 45 miles from its source.

We have voluntary work parties and an AGM if you would like to be even more involved with the environment.
